The NYS Veterinarians Trade Group is a one of a kind workers' compensation premium reduction program within NYSIF. While there have been "Safety Groups" for virtually every industry and business type for over 50 years there has never been an exclusive program just for NYS veterinary practices...Until now that is!


NYSVG offers qualified practices the opportunity to control workers' compensation premiums through specialized risk management techniques including: claims reporting and assistance, loss control, premium discounts, and eligibility for participation in any dividends* earned by the group. 


 

Currently, qualified members receive an advanced premium discount of 25%
Our last paid dividend* was 15%...
Premium savings as high as 40%


 

Since Group inception in 2003, practices throughout NYS have heard the call and enrolled. Some realizing premium savings even before any dividends were declared by the Group!

In addition, our clients have come to know a level of service unlike any other, taking the management of workers' compensation and even short term disability off their shoulders.
